Shelly

Before church last Sunday, a friend named Shelly approached me after having heard about the Cerebral Palsy healing.

Shelly:

I get headaches every time I drive and I get headaches in the heat.  I suffer from them often…a couple times a week.  They are pressure headaches.  This particular one I have had for 5 days.  It’s a constant throbbing and pressure.  It’s very distracting.

Normally we don’t conduct prayer before the service, but apparently this headache was troubling enough for Shelly to seek immediate relief.  We began praying.

Me:

God, we know that you are our healer.  I rebuke this headache in Jesus’ name.  Healing now.

Later (I believe it was still before the service started), Shelly approached me.

Shelly:

The pain left after the prayer.  We prayed and it lifted.  It’s gone!

The next day, I spoke with Shelly on the phone.

Shelly:

It hasn’t come back.  Whenever it does try to come back, I say “No” and it’s gone (click here for further understanding of why it temporarily “comes back”).  I’m just so amazed not to have it!

That same Sunday, a man named Phil came to me with a great report of being healed two weeks prior.

Phil:

On the 14th, the Pastor began calling out prophetic “words of knowledge” about ailments within the congregation.  Then Gary (a church elder) stood up and confirmed an issue I was having with my right ankle (also through a word of knowledge).  I hadn’t been injured, but it was one of those things where all of a sudden it was swollen.

I was also having trouble with the right side of my lower back and my right hip.  When the Pastor called those who had trouble with their ankle, I thought, “What’s a little ol’ ankle?  There are more important things that people need healing for.”  I wasn’t going to go forward, but then Gary got that word of knowledge.

On that day, my friend Mary and I prayed for Phil.  Here is Phil’s report of what happened after the prayer:

Phil:

My right ankle is completely healed and the pain in the right hip is gone.  There is a little bit of discomfort in my lower back, but so insignificant…nothing like what it was before.  I’m able to exercise and it’s like it’s not there anymore.

Me:

So, if we prayed on that Sunday, when did the relief actually hit you?

Phil:

It was healed Tuesday…latest Wednesday (three days later).  It wasn’t improving at all until that Sunday.  Now it’s not an issue at all.
